The Blood Suckers are Back!
Ok so we're having cats & dogs come in who are being eaten alive by some of the biggest fleas I've seen in years!
They're awful and torture our beloved pets.
I have noticed that the mosquitos are huge this year as well so beware...
Please be sure to use Advantage, Frontline, or other products so that you can protect your pet(s) from fleas or other biting bugs.
You can sprinkle some garlic powder on their food everyday and it will secrete through their pores & make it an undesirable meal for the bugs that not only feast on blood but can transmit diseases to your pet. It's a cheap, simple way to nip it in the bud...
Note; Horses don't get fleas but they do get mosquitos like crazy. You can add garlic powder ( up to almost a tablespoon for a full sized horse) to your daily grain regimen to make it a safe season free from West Nile Virus among other diseases nasty bugs can carry.
